trout net

Can anyone suggest a nice trout net? I am looking for one on the SMALL side with the rubber netting. Looking to spend no more then $50. Was at Cabela's last night and they had one I liked but it was $80; I dunno if the wife would be happy if I came home with that and she saw the price..

Re: trout net

My son picked up a clear mesh Cortland Bamboo teardrop net at Walmart last spring. Worked well for him during the season. Saw them there the other day for a twenty dollar bill.

Try They are handmade in Maine and are beautiful with the rubber bag.The smallest trout net is I believe about$75 so that isn't bad for a beautiful net that should last you a long time

Re: trout net

I have a frabil rubberized net. It is $20 and tough as nails. I fish really brushy water and this net has been drug through everything you can think of and no holes. Also the netting is rubberized which is a life saver for not getting hooks tangled. I spun fish and even with trebles they don't get snagged in the net
