New Easton Nemesis

Anyone pick some of these up yet and shoot em? Looked on archery talk and did not see any threads there on them. I'm going to pick up a half dozen and see what they do. Cheaper then CXs and made in America.

Re: New Easton Nemesis

Can't go wrong with Easton shafts. Never shot the micro small diameter shafts, they are good for penetration

The older I get the better I was.

Re: New Easton Nemesis

They are 10.7 gpi and 7.50 an arrow on LA's website.

Re: New Easton Nemesis

I read a post on AT in the one thread on Nemesis. Someone posted that they achieved the higher gpi by using the wrap and not the actual thickness of the arrow wall. Trying to track this down and have thought about contacting Easton about this claim.

Anybody else hear about this?

Re: New Easton Nemesis

Well i didn;t go with the Nemesis. I read some post over the past few months stating that this arrow is just a standard carbon arrow which gets alot of its spine and weight from the wrap on the arrow. It still performs well, but if the wrap is damaged, then the question that seems to be unanswered is whether the arrow performs the same.

I still wanted to go with Easton so i went with the ACC Pro Hunters. Common comment, you just can;t go wrong with it. Same cost as the CX Maximas I;ve been using, more weight GPI, and should really help with the high poundage i shoot. I plan to throw an Exodus on the front of it and should have a great setup this year.
