What Sight Are You Using?

Just put money on a new bow, Carbon Rose, and I need a new sight. I'm not stripping my Diamond Razor because I'm giving it to my husband to use for target practice with me. He's not a hunter so it's being retired in that sense.

I'd like to know what you're using and if you love your sight. I've been looking at the IQBowSight Retina Lock too. Anyone have any info on that sight?

Uh Oh! Janie's got her gun!

Re: What Sight Are You Using?

I don't have any experience with the IQ sight but it seems like a lot of the TV guys are shooting them... However, if you have ever thought about a single pin slider sight, I don't think you can beat the HHA line. I have one on my bow and i absolutely love it. I leave it set at 25 yards while on stand and that covers me from 5 to 30 yards.

I am thinking about getting the Trophy ridge React sight. Seems pretty simple and bulletproof.

Once you get used to a single pin they are awesome, it does take a little getting used to. I am shooting an HHA OL-5510 for hunting and indoors.

The older I get the better I was.

I don't like single pin sliders. But lots of people love them.

I am using a Sword Twilight Hunter multi pin sight.

Re: What Sight Are You Using?

I shoot the 5 pin Sword Accu-site with .10 pins. Practicing for Colorado this year I was confident at 60 yards and if I wanted to shoot 70 I just aimed with the 60, noticed where the 50 fell on the target, raised the 60 up to that point and let it fly! Would have been deadly on an elk sized animal if I had seen 1, lol!

Yellodog I could not decide between the .010 and .019 on the HHA and lots of guys on Archery Talk seem to prefer the .010. I went with the .010 and I am glad I did, it is so bright it looks bigger, I am using my hunting setup to shoot indoors this year also. They say a small pin is harder to keep on target and may promote target panic, so far I do not find that to be a problem.

The older I get the better I was.

I shoot the Trophy Ridge Cypher 5 pin site, durable and simple to set up.

Bigfoot saw me but nobody believes him!
