Grunt tubes

Anyone know where I can find the original black true talker? Lost mine last year and now they got this new model out. Got a lot of confidence in that tube.

What's everyone else like?

Re: Grunt tubes

eBay. I saw some on there just after doing a quick search. I can't imagine the new ones sounds any different.

God Bless the USA.

Re: Grunt tubes

I am using a Down N Dirty Outdoors Hawg Head.............I like it, it is one of the best sounding tubes I have heard, and it is easy to do small pops and clicks on it.....

Re: Grunt tubes

I like the old one the best too, I bought a new one because the reed had broke on my old one and it just didn't sound the same. I eventually found an old one on eBay.

Re: Grunt tubes

Yeah I just got an older one on ebay. Maybe should have ordered a couple. Don't really like the new one plus I got tons of confidence in the old one, have called in quite a few bucks with it.

Re: Grunt tubes

I had two of the original black ones.I bought them years ago at the Potter county bow festival from the guy who designed them. They were by far the best grunt call of all time.

Re: Grunt tubes

I lost mine just before archery season, and couldn't find any of the originals. I picked up the buck collector. I like the buck collector better, but called in a ton of bucks with the original true talker.

Re: Grunt tubes

I have the original and a newer Super Talker. To me they both sound the same but the membrane where you control the sound is much softer on the original. I find its a bit of a guessing game as to what sound I'm making with the newer model.

Re: Grunt tubes

In many years of purchasing and using several types of grunt calls some have brought nice bucks right to be however, I have yet to find one that last from year to year and many do not operate properly during cold weather.

I too would be interested in a proven grunt tube which performs well under all conditions and for a span of years.
