New Arrows

I am in the market for some new arrows. Currently I shoot the CE Maxima 250 (7.3 gpi) at 29.5 inches. I am looked to up the weight some and have been thinking about the Blue Streaks. Anyone use the Blue Streak? Any other suggestions are certainly welcome as well. Thank you.

Re: New Arrows

I'm personally a big fan of the Gold Tips and Black Eagles. For hunting, I like the Gold Tip Pro Hunters and Black Eagle Carnivores. They are both just a good tough arrow. As far as your choices, the Blue Streaks are a good arrow, I know a few people that use them and have great things to say about them.

Re: New Arrows

i have never spent a ton of money on arrows. i use the cabelas brand and they have shot great for me. untill is cant hold groups with the arrows im using i wouldnt spent the money for the weighted fancy arrows. i believe its all on your bow set up, form, and how much you practice that makes the difference in how you shoot.

Re: New Arrows

I have several different brands/styles of arrows including some CE's
During all my practice I have managed 2 - "robin hood" shots.
Both have been with the Cabela's stalker extreme
So even though I have some "expensive" arrows in my box I seam to always load up the quiver with the Cabela's brand.

Re: New Arrows

Gt hunters are reasonable and very good.
For my xbow I just got some ce maxima bolts. So far they are pretty sweet.

Your spot I NEVER go back
My spot I expect the same

Re: New Arrows

I used cedar. They are cheaper than carbon and when they break, you don't get made because the smell good.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: New Arrows

Gold Tip fan here. Awesome tough arrow. Mine have the blazer vanes. I have shot through shoulder areas on 2 big KS deer with them tipped with muzzys.
