Wicked Ridge Warrior G3

Anyone shoot a Wicked Ridge Warrior G3? If so what is your opinion? I have the opportunity to buy a new in box crossbow package for $250.

Wicked Ridge crossbows are built by Ten Point which is a top end product. Check the warranty and what is covered and for how long?

I bought a slightly used Ten Point crossbow about 10 years ago. Price was very reasonable. But after a couple years the trigger/safety mechanism went bad so I took it to my local Archery Shop in Fivepointsville, PA. They told me to send it to the factory in Ohio because they were not authorized to replace this device. Ten Point replaced the part for zero cost to me! My only cost was the shipping. I'm very satisfied with this experience!

In my opinion, there are many good crossbows on the market these days that are priced reasonably. My friend in New York hunts with a Beowulf sold through Sportsman's Guide catalog. He paid less than $350. and it shoots quite well, indeed.

Yes, I have one and spent a WHOLE lot more than that. If that bow is in good shape, that's a very good price. Last year, I took two deer, my wife took one, and our boy took one, all with the same Warrior bow, same bolt/arrow, and same broadhead. I am not overly pleased with the noise it generates upon shooting, but can live with it. It is accurate, adequately fast, and not difficult to cock. I like the trigger very much and the safety is not difficult to release noiselessly. The TenPoint scope it came with is OK. If you don't like it, replacing it with your choice of optic would be no problem. Again, a new in-box package at $250 is a steal.
