Bargain rangefinder?

I have never owned a rangefinder and wanted to start inexpensive.
Does anyone have experience with the Halo 2555?

I have a Halo XRC model. It is good out to 500 yards which is farther than I am going to shoot. I have it for about 5 years and I have not had any problems with it. I have stood next to people with much more expensive range finders and mine showed the same distance as theirs when we raged things for comparison. I got it from Sportsmans guide. I see they are out of stock but they gave a Halo good for 750yards for a small amount more.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

For the short ranges involved in bowhunting, I don't think you need a real expensive rangefinder. I have 2 that I paid less than $100 for and both are fine.

Too many choices once I looked on eBay.
I finally pulled the trigger on a Leupold 1200i in orange camo.
Not quite the bargain route but I canít wait,
