Pink camo bow problem

So a couple years ago I bought my daughter a pink Diamond Infinite bow. For one year she loved it and used it a fair amount. She hasn't really touched it since. My youngest son wants to get a bow now. Is it even possible to spray paint a bow or do anything to change colors so he doesn't have to use a pink bow? Or am I just going to have to get a new one. My only other option is to try to traded in at a bow shop. I can't imagine it will get much for it.

Check out CamoSkinz - I did my waterfowl shotgun with one of their kits. Held up great for 10 years, before one small seam at the trigger guard started to peel. I cut out the "unsticky" part(about 1/2") and it's doing fine - almost 10 more years ..LOL

Would it save you a lot of time if I just gave up and went mad now? Douglas Adams

we used to paint ours with spray paint. also used leaves for a camo pattern. spray a base color, then hold a leaf over parts of that color and spray another color over the leaf. when you remove the leaf the base color is there surrounded by the other color and shows the outline of the leaf.

there are videos on spray painting bows too.

Hydro dips, camo skins, how to vidieos.

Get a rattle can in the desired color and 2 minutes later the bow is no longer pink. Problem solved.

Yup....this^^^^. Tape off the cams or anything else you don't want paint on, then paint away. Could even get fancy and use multiple rattle can colors and some stencils shaped like leaves, if you want a camo appearance.

Yes many of us all did this before there were camo bows. I had a couple of neat ones....

I lack such imagination.

I bought a Hoyt fps in the mid eighties. It was a target bow, bright metallic blue with white limbs. Got it home and sprayed it flat olive drab, cams, strings, everything one color. Shot that bow till '04, probably killed close to 40 bucks in 5 different states without a repaint.

Mid eighties, I think that was about when they came out with factory camo bows? Even old bear and pearson recurves came from the factory with shiney fiberglass overlays on the limbs and riser. They made little camo limb covers for them, but they made the bow shoot different so mine just got paint.
