Short vanes and fixed blade broadheads.....

To the point where I'm gonna be needing to get a new dozen arrows. I'm pretty much decided on Gold Tip Pro Hunters.

Everywhere that sells them seems to put 2" vanes on them. I've been shooting 4" for years with Steelforce 100 grain fixed blade heads.

How much stabilization do you give up with these little vanes behind a big broadhead ??

Not much... get a good helical on them and they will soar.... I used blazers with muzzy and steel force, and they did great. Do you fletch?

They will perform as good or better. Keep an open mind and prepare to have it blown!

If you want to save a couple bucks, go with Hunters or Hunter XT's and have whoever is building them cut from both ends. You will basically end up with a dozen Hunter Pro's at a fraction of the cost.
