Serving ware

Hi guys I shoot a Bear Attitude Single cam bow. It's my first bow and I had the original string and cables replaced w custom ones by my bow tech. I had them replaced because close to the cam was worn out pretty bad. I've had the new string on for about 4 months and it's getting worn out right in the same area. Anyone have any input on this? I dropped it off for my bow tech to check out just waiting on the phone call but figured I'd see if anyone has any similar issues.

Re: Serving ware

The cam could have a small nick or bur on it wearing the cable. The bushing in the cam could also be worn or to much pressure could be put on the cables from the cable guard causing the cam to have excessive lean wearing the cable. Just a few things to check.

The older I get the better I was.

Don't shoot a single cam but that should not be happening. Todays high performance strings last a long time. I just replaced mine after 5 years and I shoot ALOT.
