Any Darton Shooters?

I had a good talk with the Darton rep at the Outdoors show last week and then went home and did some more research and I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up shooting a DS-3800 this year. Seems like a pretty nice setup. Are there any Darton shooters on HPA? If so, what do you shoot? Have you had any issues with your Darton?

Re: Any Darton Shooters?

The indoor range where I shoot my league is a Darton dealer and I shot Dartons for years. There are a lot of darton shooters in this area and they make a great bow. That 3800 is fast.

The older I get the better I was.

I shoot a old mag 33. Will be upgrading to a 3800 shortly. Great bows.

Thanks for the input. The more I read, the more I'm sold on these bows.

I still shoot a Maverick. I bought it used in 2000. At 62 lbs it shoots around 265 fps. Love my bow..

1998 Titan XT, 244fps with 400gr arrow @ 28". Very reliable. Shoots fixed blade and field points essentially to the same spot.

Re: Any Darton Shooters?

From around 2000 to 2010 I shot a Darton Yukon XT. Top limb finally got a crack in it and ended up getting a DS-3800.

I really miss the XT and probably liked it better than my 3800.
