Recurve bow value

I have a couple of recurve bows that I am thinking of getting rid of. I am hoping that someone knows what is a fair price. The first is a Browning Wasp. There are no other markings as far as I can tell. The other is marked "Galaxie Apollo" with "369, a-119, 34# @ 28" AND 69"". Can anyone give me any information?

Re: Recurve bow value

Does anyone know where I can get a value? Is there a Blue Book for these?

Re: Recurve bow value

Search ebay or craigslist for like models...do a google search with the model and craigslist in the search or use search tempest to get more out of the craigslist search.

Around $100.00 each provided they are in good condition. I google searched it for ya.

I see said the Blind Carpenter to his Deaf Helper as he picked up his Hammer and Saw!

Re: Recurve bow value

yeah, the wasp is a real good shooter apparently, never owned one but have been looking for a while for the right one. Around $100. The other one is a Blackhawk bow, made in East Mckeesport, PA back in the 60's and 70's. That bow was made in March 1969, per the 369. The galaxie line contained their deluxe bows, usually more exotic woods and intricate laminations. Seeing as their base hunting bows sell anywhere from $75-150, I'd say that that target bow will be anywhere from $100-150 just because it is a target bow
