fred bear instinct question for expert.....

my boy bought a used instinct. the draw length needs lengthened. He called the Fred bear company and the guy on the phone told him he had 2 in of adjustment in the bow and he did not need a new module.
today he was at the Forksville bow fest and tried to get it adjusted (only needs about 1/2 inch) and both the techs he talked to there told him if he adjusted it without a module change it would throw the timing off? its a single cam bow. So who is right? the guy who works for Fred bear or the 2 techs at the bow fest?

Now your diggin' where the 'tators are!

I had a Fred Beat Element single cam and I changed the draw length a couple times (once for me, once when I gave it to my nephew) and it still shot great both times.

Don't know much about the Instinct, but, from what I've read they have different DL modules, but, each module has 1/2" plus or minus fine adjustment.

In other words, if your son needs a 29 1/2" draw length, the bow would have to have a 29" module and you could adjust it to 29 1/2", or the bow could have a 30" module and you could adjust it to 29 1/2". Just MHO.

I had an instinct. You just change the module. I actually have 2 modules in my collection of stuff. What size do you need. If I have one that will fit
I will mail it to you.
