Elite Energy 32

This past weekend I took a drive to my local archery shop(I currently live in Navarre, Florida but come home to central PA for the last two weeks of bow)to check out the new Carbon Spyder Turbo and the Elite Energy 32. Before shooting those, I have shot the Bowtech PRM 360.(2 weeks ago) It's a great bow. Shot great, Drew great, held awesome. It's a great bow but just not the "one" for me. I wasn't huge on the grip and something about the cams being so massive didn't set well. On the the Hoyt CS 30... I originally wanted to shoot the Turbo but they didn't have it there. I really like the grip on the CS. It's super light. The draw however... I wasn't that impressed. I felt as if I was pulling back 90 pounds. It was 70 and that's what I typically hunt with. It had vibration after the shot but I'd assume a stabilizer would take care of that. But THEN I shot an Elite Energy and all I can say is WOW!!! The grip is decent.. not bad but not the grip on a hoyt. It was set at 70 pounds and felt like I was pulling back 40. There was literally nothing to it.The back wall.. I felt like I could hold it all day. You literally owe it to yourself to go shoot this bow. Low and behold... I ordered one yesterday with 70 lb limbs, 28 inch draw in Black. I cannot wait to get it!

Re: Elite Energy 32

I have an Energy 35 and they are a pleasure to shoot. If you don't like the grip try wrapping it in Gamma tennis racket tape or the Torqueless grip company makes a low wrist grip for your bow for about 65 bucks.

The older I get the better I was.

Re: Elite Energy 32

I have my E35 tuned to where I can hang it from my bow scale and take it to full draw, I can actually let go of my bow and just the weight of the bow will keep it at full draw. Some people like more holding weight, especially when using a back tension, but for an old guy like me its a pleasure to shoot.

Re: Elite Energy 32

i don't think i like that at all. i rely on my holding weight for aim. it is indeed INSANE let off though.
