Re: Strings

Threadz Custom Bowstrings, 60X, and Bucknasty are all top quality strings at a fraction of the cost of ABB and Winner's Choice. In my opinion, all 3 are better!

Re: Strings

Anybody use Winner's Choice? I took my bow out yesterday and realized there was something wrong with the cable. Took it over to the pro shop and he confirmed it needed to be replaced. Since the bow was gifted to me over four years ago I didn't know the last time the strings were replaced so I just ordered a new set of strings/cable. He uses the Winner's Choice stuff. Curious to see what the result is. I'm still fairly new to archery and this is my first replacement.

Also, HG - what don't you like about the Winner's Choice? Wish I would have read this before I put the order in.

Winners choice are good strings, just about double in price what you will pay for equal if not better quality.

Re: Strings

I have used VaporTrail and Bowstring Depot. Both are excellent. I hear a lot of good things about 60x but have not tried them yet. If you are in a hurry, like I was last year the Monday before our season opened and I nicked a cable with a sharp broadhead, VaporTrail has exceptional turnaround times. They had a set at my door on Thursday.
