Re: Nocturnal lighted nock

You are correct. The S should be the proper size for that arrow. Are they a little loose or way way small? There could be a chance that something got mislabelled.

Re: Nocturnal lighted nock

I am using Beman ICS Bowhunters. I am not using Nockturnals but some of the new Clean Shot Nockout lighted nocks. I had to use the Lemonok method of shimming the nock with slips of paper to tighten them up. The ICS shafts seem a little bigger than most S shafts.

Re: Nocturnal lighted nock

You can also try wrapping the nock with dental floss

Re: Nocturnal lighted nock

I've use plastic wrap or a plastic walmart bag as well. Just hold it over the shaft and slide the nock/bushing into the shaft.

Re: Nocturnal lighted nock

if you can get them to work i highly suggest "going through the effort" to get them to work!

ive tried most of the lighted nocks...im actually happy with the nocturnals...i shoot the green and LOVE them...

this was my first season with them and im glad i finally found a lighted nock i have confidence in...

and they already paid for themselves..recovered an arrow i wouldnt have found without it glowing after dark...blew through my longbeard this fall and i thought he flew off with the arrow..buddy beat me to the truck and wanted to know what was glowing green in the field..i told him to go fetch my arrow while i hiked out lol..

the blue wasnt nearly as bright...the green is awesome..didnt try the red..the blue i actually returned because it didnt fit well at all...which is odd..the greens fit nice and snug..
