t/c rear stock

going to drill a hole in the rear stock of my renegade 58 cal.stole the hard ware off my firestorm to be able to put sling stud on.? not sure how big of hole to drill.i dont want to go to big.maybe i will contact thompson and ask them.

never tried them.just thought about doing it today and had the ramrod piece switched in a few min. going to take it to a guy that has a drill press.should not be to difficult to figure out he said.

i had a buddy do mine not that hard but drill press is a good idea. i would do a practice run on another piece of wood, and use duct or masking tape
