Re: peep sight

Talk to Lyman. Their 57 SML fits TC Hawkins.

Re: peep sight

You could look at the T/C hunting-style tang peep # 7194.I've seen them at Midway USA.

Re: peep sight

T/c no linger makes the peep sights, but there always a few for sale on E-Bay. Prices are usually in the $75.00 to $100.00 range.

Re: peep sight

Are you sure T/C discontinued? I had them put one on my PA hunter about 5 years ago, because the gunsmith told me that my warranty would be void if anyone but T/C did the work. I sent the rifle & they did it for me. But it will help tighten your groups, especially if your eyes are failing like mine. I hunted illegal I guess for a couple years before they made peeps legal, but I missed 3 or 4 deer before putting it on and was sick of doing THAT, let me tell you.

Forget about the danger; think of the fun!

Re: peep sight

I have the Lyman 57 GPR. Mounts to the tang. Love it. Got it from Midway. About $90 a few years ago. I kept the front F/O sights though. Easier to see in dimlight.

Here are the links to the sight itself manual and Midway.
