How many use something other than 50 cal in a flinter and what do you use?

My primary flinters are a 50 long rifle and a 24 ga (58 cal) smooth bore. I have others including a 50 cal smooth rifle.

My primary flinter is a custom built .45 cal long rifle, I also have a .50 T/C hawken & a .54 T/C ren. in flint.

In precussion a .40 cal "Turner Kirkland" long rifle
a .45 cal long rifle, custom built
a .50 T/C Hawken

For those who fought for it, Life has a flavor the protected will never know.

Got rid of my last 50 Cal flinter when I sold my RMC AccuSporter. I immediately invested in a Lyman GPR 54 Cal so my Brad Emig custom 54 Cal PA Mountain Rifle didnt get lonely!!

54 cal. I heard someone say the number should add up to 9. 36,45,54 ect. But I think he said that because that's what he had and the other guy didn't.
