I'd take some 0000-grade steel wool to those finishes and then re-look at 'em. A buffing with steel wool will give you a different look as well.

That stock is about 30 years old and was originally done with BLO. all I did today was put one quick coat of wax on it.

Flerro, I think she may have wire taps and cameras involved here because I can't seem to get away with nothin'!!! Of course, at 76 there's not much I need to get away with anyway.
