Build question

Working diligently on my Tennessee half stock. One thing I have to do is cut in the but plate and fit it to the stock.... it scares me LOL has anyone done this and what are your tips/ process? Thanks

a few picks that might help. you will need to know where your trigger is going to be so you can measure for the LOP.
