flintin'

Shortly after the first of the year I'll be hosting flinters here at my place as I do every year. I have four plus myself so far, two coming from Ontario Canada. Anyone is welcome, and I can sleep 6 to 7 in my bunkhouse and one more in my guest bedroom, for anyone wanting to come for any overnight stay. Still hunting and some small drives. Just an informal way for members to "meet and greet". Full details, directions by PM. Date(s) will be announced when I finalize them. This will be in Bedford Co near Breezewood

Just something to keep in mind here is that we have these threads where guys will attack one another over weapon of choice or hunting style or trespassing and road hunting threads. Here you have a guy giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and assuming that any hunter who responds must be a solid person because he or she is a fellow hunter.
Sorry for making this post but it makes my day and deserves to be pointed out.
Looking forward to seeing how the hunt went !

Yes this is a very generous opportunity he offers! Myself and several others were scheduled to make the hunt 2 years ago but the weather had other ideas and hunt was cancelled. I have contacted him to let him know I am planning to head out this year for at least one overnight and act primarily as a pusher for the others.

Great opportunity for someone with an unused buck tag that can be used statewide for either sex with a flinter to take part in a group hunt! Also believe there are still DMAP permits (DMAP 2875 I believe) available for his area.

I will extend his offer a bit in that anyone who would like to attend but may not have a flinter would be more then welcome to use my spare rifle on this hunt.

No DMAP's available, but there's still about 10,000 4A doe tags still available for this area

we'll be doing the group thing on the 6th, 7th, and 8th of Jan. I have room for about 5 overnighters if anyone wants to come join in. Great chance to meet some great HPa members. Hope a few can make it. If interested please give me the day(s) you will come to hunt.

Just wanted to bump this generous offer up! I am heading out to hunt Monday and Tuesday. I have planning to mostly be a pusher on the drives as my freezer is mostly full. Sounds like a good time!
