Replacement Lyman Deerstalker barrel

So I recently acquired a Lyman deerstalker 50 cal. flintlock. The barrel has some slight pitting inside so rather than messing with it, I would rather just replace it. I have been searching the Internet to no end and have not located anything. I'm open to suggestions and any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My neighbor has one, a pretty old one he said just didn't want to shoot right anymore. Well he googled it, and ended up buying a new barrel from Lyman. He says it's a shooter again.

I think the problem with finding a new barrel is the recall of the bad barrel , Lyman had to replace, now they are in short supply.Go to Lyman site and look up barrel recall, if you have one you would get a free new one.

Have you thought of getting your barrel relined? ,Or rebored to a 54.If you do you can choose the twist you want.
Bobby Hoyt can do it and it would run around $125, then your gun would be just like new.
