You chose to use the term...orange wrecking crew, to describe deer drives. I took that as an indication of a personal view.

There are probably many rifle-only hunters who would like to see tree stands removed from any new archery opportunity. Point being, once handicaps beyond the approved weapon start, all become fair game. IMO, it's not wise to start the ball rolling on stipulations.

I was conveying what I hear from other bowhunters.

If you wish to apply that to me personally I canít stop you.

All I can do is say I have no opposition to deer drives because theyíll likely end quickly just like they did in my area at least when the early doe season came in.

Guys went to do their age old, tried and true deer drives and realized they can see for beans when thereís leaves on the trees and bushes.

But what I posted is what I hear bowhunters express as concerns.

You likely wonít accept or believe that, but I canít control what you accept or believe.

We already have long bow and recurve for the entire early archery season. The only addition would be a week of flintlock for bucks (already have it for doe), to which I personally have no objection.
