I wasn't sure I was going to document this one or not. I didn't know if there was any interest out there.

Gonna be a good tree rat gun!
What is the twist in the barrel?Often fast twists will like lower charges and that good.

The answers to all of life's questions are found in the Bible!

Very interested in following along....always enjoyed flintlock hunting, but recently have become very interested in the traditional rifles and am considering trying a build myself!

Rice 1 in 48 twist, swamped 42" "A" weight, round bottom rifling. after working with a B and D weight barrel, this thing is "sweet" (and I don't use that word!) but it is nice! I will be able to slim this thing right down. hoping to do a lot of carving and such on the stock, maybe an inlay or two.

As someone with no skill, I always enjoy seeing someone else with it! By all means, I'd love to watch your build.

Oh, please do post progress reports with plenty of photos. I love to watch a great rifle come together! And that one looks like it will be just that.
