Flintlock question

Hi I am new to PA and am looking to get a flintlock for deer hunting. I don't have a ton of money to spend and was wondering what you all would recomend for a good flintlock.

Take your kids hunting and you won't have to hunt for your kids..

Re: Flintlock question

Look for a used TC Renegade...TC stopped making them but you can get a good used one cheap and best of all the lifetime warranty transfers to you as the new owner...Always get a bill of sale from the owner when you close the transaction...Good Shooting...

Re: Flintlock question

Just watch the classifieds on this forum. And on the Muzzleloading Forum. Lots of good deals on good used rifles. Just be prepared to buy. They don't last long. Tom.

Re: Flintlock question

I would go with TC Hawken or Renegade.Any of the Lymans are also good.

Re: Flintlock question

I seen it in the for sale forum. It is a good deal if you are getting into the sport

Re: Flintlock question

I'd look for a used Lyman Great Plains Rifle or used T/C. Both make good guns and can be found easy enough.
