i'm probably good for about 3 years, maybe? depends a lot on how much woodchuck hunting I do, plus with 2 new rifles in the works and shooting them a lot after they are done, it could get used up faster. the picture of the pan is 1 batch, and I made 2.

That is a lot of prbs. I'm sure you mold your own balls, how many pounds of lead you put down range in a good year?

Does it stay usable in weather like we had the end of last week?

Where do you get your beeswax?

Up til now, I've not tried making my own lube, but might just try to in the near future.

as far as the amount of lead? couldn't even take a guess. when I get down under 50 balls or so, I make more. that's the .32 and .36. the .62 I try to have 100 or so on hand. I have never had any trouble in cold weather with the lube. it is mostly olive oil, with just enough bees wax to keep it from being a liquid. bees wax I usually get from one of the honey venders at craft shows. the last show I did was a few years ago and I traded for about 20 pounds. I try to always have some on hand for various things.
