first flintlock deer

I took my 50 Cal Pedersoli Frontier flintlock to the woods for her first deer hunt. I got this rifle at our muzzleloading club's Auction last winter for $75.00 It was a Percussion rifle, but I converted it to a flintlock with an L & R lock.
I was sitting in front of a big oak tree for a few hours that were mixed with rain and snow when three doe came out at about 50 yards from me, so I put my sights on the biggest one and squeezed the trigger. She went about 40 yards and dropped. I've harvested many deer, but this one with the flintlock was really special.

Now its time to get one with one with my North west trade gun. That should be Icing on the cake.
