TC Maxi

Does anyone use these TC Maxi Hunters now a days? I have a TC .50 Firestorm and was going to give them a try. WM had them on clearance for $9 a pack of 20.

Not maxi hunters, but my son uses maxi balls that I made him. I used to shoot them out of my Renegade, and I got tired of buying them back then at $10 to $15 a box of 20. I bought a mold and make them for him whenever he needs ammo,.

Guns with 1-48 twist seem to like the longer maxi-balls 370 gr not maxi- hunters ..But I got the maxi-hunters 350 gr to shoot well ..too much of load with open them up..In 50 cal with 2 f best was around 70/80 grs and with 3f around 70 grs of Geox ...

My son uses 80 grains of 2fg in his gun. He's getting decent groups at 50 yards.
