imput wanted

years ago we had woods walk shoots once a month at our sportsman club of which I ran the last couple of years and would like to start that again. I was thinking of a traditional woods walk with no separation of weapons. if it loads from the muzzle, then its all good. It would all be off hand. I wouldn't have a problem competing against modern scoped guns, its scored as a hit or miss, simple as that. what do you folks think?

I see you are from blooming valley. Which sportsmans club are you talking about? I'm from near woodcock and I know I would be interested in going to that.

HHA does a woods walk I've done and will do again. It's a good time.

I would participate in that. I have some family members that are pretty involved out there.

i'm not a current member so I would have to join again, but I have connections to make it happen. I can build all the targets, that's not a problem. I think it would be fun to have everyone competing together.

I may even show up for that, is there a prize for last place? Heheh.

Sadly most of my life has been wasted, but the rest I spent hunting, fishing, and trapping...

I talked with the owner of Morrison's Sporting Goods in Titusville this fall. He said there was a club north of Tville that did woods walks. Of course I've forgotten the information at this point, but I wanted to check it out at some point.

Remember, shoot straight and shoot often.
Good... Bad... I'm the guy with the gun.

BP, count me in, this is some of the best practice you can get for hunting.
I have done this in several locations and thoroughly enjoyed it in summer and in two feet of snow!
