That's a pretty cool looking ad, thanks for posting it. I enjoy seeing those old ads. I was looking at an older ad a fellow showed on Cast Boolit forum about original SpringField Trap Door's. The price on the standard Military Trap Door was $10. How would you like a few of those?? Tom.

I posted such an ad in the single shot forum a few days ago.

I have been going through some old outdoor magazines and catalogues and taking note of some old interesting ads. Even scanning some to keep a record.

The 1947 Stoeger's Catalogue has Hercules brand black powder for 37 cents a pound.
