Since it fit you like a hand in a glove it sounds like you got a winner.I have no experience with them but all of the reviews and comments from owners have been very good.

I have the Pedersoli Flinter pistol. Called the Kentucky bounty hunter 50 cal.. The hardware is good, trigger, lock, frizzen all are very satisfactory. Goes off every time. 16" barrel, 22" overall length, birds head grip. I absolutely LOVE this gun. It is very accurate. I have hit 100 yard silhouettes with it. On Sat the 7th (my dads75th birthday) I killed my 3rd deer with it. At over 60 yards, uphill through the trees, I dropped her in her track with 45 grains of FFF with prb. If you look up my posts there is pics of the gun from previous kills.

I am also very happy with how tight and sealed the frizzen is to the pan. I made a hip holster for it and I can prime the pan holster it and hike around for miles, pull it out and all the powder is still there. Fires every time. It ordered it from a Pedersoli dealer in Conn.

My brother shoots a .50 cal Cabela's Blue Ridge rifle. It is made by D. Pedersoli.

It's a great looking, well built and very accurate gun.
