TC Flintlock Mainspring Pliers

I got a set of Swivel Pad Locking Pliers for ~$5. I cut down the arms a bit and welded the swivel pads on at the right angle. Then I notched the one side to go around the tip end of the main spring on a TC Lock. Had to do a little grinding to get the ears small enough to go in but they work really well. Have always used needle nose pliers on the edge of the workbench but thought this was worth a try. Bad case of ugly on my welds but they work.
