lyman GP set trigger loose

anyone know how to tighten the set trigger on a Lyman GP? it's pretty loose and rattles when you shake the gun...

Re: lyman GP set trigger loose

The last page of this link shows the trigger assembly. http://www.lymanproducts.com/lyman/m.../lyc-ml-gp.pdf
Take the trigger assembly out. Leaf/flat spring 55 (trigger main spring) at the back is for the set trigger. Tightening and loosening that spring by screwing in or out screw 56 will make the set trigger pull harder or not.
