Possibles Bag

I am interested in either purchasing one of these or making my own from a deer hide I harvested with my muzzleloader. Anyone ever make one? Let's see some pictures of your setups.

Re: Possibles Bag

Making one from your deer would certainly be neat, but you have that whole rendering it down to a functional tanned hide first. That's quite a process and a "no thanks" for me.

Re: Possibles Bag

buy a bottle of that home tanning stuff in the orange bottle. it has a method for hair off tanning.
I actually just ordered a possibles bag in kit form from a place called crazy crow trading post. Complete kit was like 20-some bucks. It hasnt arrived yet, but looked pretty nice online.

Re: Possibles Bag

I have made several and it seems like i'am always working on one. I like to have one for each gun, so there is always one in the works. you can also buy some very nice leather. moose is my favorite and makes very nice bags. you can make your own pattern. I say make your own, its very enjoyable to make your own possibles for your gun and hobby.
