Middlecreek 12/16

Who is going in for the 1st hunt?
I got drawn for the 2nd (1/13) and was not going to go in.The 2nd hunt is real bad but might use it as a chance to scout if I get drawn for the 1st hunt next year.

Re: Middlecreek 12/16

Early "old-timers" syndrome took care of my chances for the hunt. I got my WMU antlerless tag on time, I got my post card purchased on time, and then forgot to mail it, ON TIME!

This stuff is happening more and more often as I move through my early 70's. I don't suspect it will improve either as the mid-70's approach!

Good luck to all who were drawn to hunt either of the two dates. Be safe.

Re: Middlecreek 12/16

I think they were giving out a few extra buck tags to keep the guys interested in the second hunt.

Re: Middlecreek 12/16

The first hunt is always better as there are more deer ..

However , after the flinter season closes and I still have a tag , I will be there !!
I have about 1.5 hour drive and I will still be there cause it's another day I can hunt !!

YEEEE HAW !!

Good luck ...

Re: Middlecreek 12/16

You know how to find me.

And I'm still carrying my buck tag this year, too. Does all over the dang place, but antlers have been hard to come by.

Re: Middlecreek 12/16

Was over last year on the first hunt with my brothers friend and his son. We went 3 for 3, it was a pretty good day. I forget how many they got that day, low 20's I think.
