Starting No2

My kit for my 2nd build came in today. Another Bedford Co. This one is in .50 cal and I upgraded the wood a little bit. Will see how this one turns out in the end.

Re: Starting No2

I wish I could keep all my tools organized like that.
It's going to be a beautiful ML, for sure. Just be sure to take off that small top piece of wood and rubberband, prior to shooting it.

The shop won't look like this long. Barrel in vise on the right ready for draw filing. Stock on the left waiting to have the barrel and tang inletted.

Re: Starting No2

The only part I hate. Mostly due to so little room for error on the bolster on this lock. Be off a 16th of an inch in any way and it's a "miss". But I made it. Now I can unpucker and move on. All lock internals are now inletted too
