Starting out with a replica muzzleloader,

I never worried about the latest and the greatest. As long as it shot good, it worked for me.
Got me to practice, and not blame the rifle for inaccuracy.
Must have saved a few dollars by going that way.

Re: Starting out with a replica muzzleloader,

I would hate to see what it cost to hunt with an original, let alone when I breaks after dropped on a rock.....

Anybody can shoot deer on the farm ground....You earn it in the mountains.......

Re: Starting out with a replica muzzleloader,

over the last 35 years I have had them all. but, I can say that owning a custom and an original is a whole different ball game. handling and fit are so much better for me and carrying and shooting both are a real pleasure.

Re: Starting out with a replica muzzleloader,

Through the Years I`ve had and have a variety of M`loaders. It is an addiction that I thought I had solved. well, at our last shoot, I handled and shot a really slim, petite 50 Cal., made by Skip Eckard, that would make an absolutely perfect Pa. Whitetail chaser.....sigh!!
