The offseason can be very boring......

.....without a new rifle!

Looks like I will be filing and dialing another one.
This is a Christian's Spring style rifle built by Ken Moors of NC. Its built around a 38" C weight Colrain .54 barrel, and a Chambers Germanic lock. His fit and finish is really nice and he is an excellent engraver. Single trigger breaks right at 3lbs.

What are you averaging 1 custom a year now? Good deal, should be fun, looks like a venison harvester to me. How many more until you get an A.Martin on that barrel?

Anybody can shoot deer on the farm ground....You earn it in the mountains.......

Wow! That is indeed a beautiful long rifle, Matt. But, next time you photograph it, think about us really old fellows with aging hearts, and rest the fore stock on something other than a sharp edged rock!
