TC hawken stocks

Anyone ever bought aftermarket TC Hawken stocks??

I'm ready for a new one...

There are at least a few options...

I'd need it fully inletted or close to it..I can deal with minor finishing touches and finishing it...

Any recommendations....or places to stay away from?

Full stock? Half stock? Any preference other than looks?

Thanx!

Re: TC hawken stocks

thats one of the places ive seen....have you used them??

hoping for real life "reviews" of some of the options available...good and/or bad...id hate to drop $200 on a stock and find out it requires a ton of inletting or its just done poorly..

Re: TC hawken stocks

Looking at the pics for the half stock TC Hawken stock, the buttplate, patchbox and nosecap need inletted. Lock, wedge ovals, trigger and TG, barrel and tang inlets are shown in the pics. Maybe need fit and finish?

Half stock is $125.00, full stock is $200.00. First mistakes are cheaper with the half stock. Plus you have the original as a pattern to modify to what you want.

Disregard prices, unless you want walnut or plain maple! High grade is more but comparable. Sorry

There is mention for 54 Hawken and all Renegades. This one is high grade maple. Just different shaping maybe? And a... 1" channel. Like this one.
