4A flntlock hunting

I have three neighbors who will be hunting the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of Jan. If anyone would like to come here to my place to hunt with the flinter, we can join them and do some small drives plus some stand hunting. One, two, or all three days are fine. I can put up about 8 to 9 people for the entire duration. PM me for details and exact location.

I gotta go agitate the techies!

Re: 4A flntlock hunting

Got some guys coming in for the last day ( 10th ). Anyone else is still welcome. The bigger group we get, the better drives we can put on. This is in Bedford Co near Breezewood. Also have a couple guys coming sometime during the week if anyone wants to come then.

I gotta go agitate the techies!

Gonna be an interesting, if not super cold, last two days. I just took a ride into my woods, and there's deer tracks everywhere. Now all we need to do is find them.

Re: 4A flntlock hunting

What a cold way to end the flinter season. 3deg in the am and frozen fingers and toes by 9am. Warmed up a bit in the pm. We moved deer in two of the four drives and 4 turkey, but no shooting. We were finding literally dozens of beds, but they were always a day old. If we'd have had a couple more guys we could have driven bigger thickets and probably found the "herd". Still, lots of fun for such a miserable cold.
