Vets: Need help? Contact Independence Fund

Link takes you to the services page.

This is the organization that Bill O'Reilly is teamed with to provide 1,700 tracked chairs to vet's at no cost. They are well on their way to that goal.

But they also offer so many other services. Take a look.

The goal of this organization is to improve quality of life by getting the vet back tot he things they loved to do before injury.

Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss? Separate the issues.

Re: Vets: Need help? Contact Independence Fund

Does anyone know of any help for non-vets? I would love to get back in the woods, and this chair would do that. I am a C9 Paraplegic (paralyzed during surgery Jan 2011).

Re: Vets: Need help? Contact Independence Fund

Bluetick, I realize this topic has aged a bit but wanted to say thanks for letting our disabled vets know about the Independence Fund. There are numerous other organizations that have been on board providing these trackchairs since May of 2013. If there's anything collective we can do on this forum that finds all the disabled vets in Pa. please let me know.
