Re: Elk Hunters

Can't wait.
Need to finish the work day today, finish getting things ready tonight then hit the road in the morning. Ready for a weekend of scouting and meeting new friends.

If you see a hunter with a flintlock longrifle, tell him where the cows are!!

Re: Elk Hunters

This will be the experience of a lifetime. Please take lots of photos to spark those memories. If you can, take someone along to video the trip - arrival thru departure. You will be glad you did. I cannot forget the two bulls fighting nearly all night long outside my bedroom the night before the hunt in 2009.

Good luck to all the lucky hunters who received permits.
Make sure you have room in your freezer.

If your freezer space is limited, I canned 35 quarts of my Calendonia Pike Cow.
