Archery Bear Season?

Am I reading this right? November 12th is the last day for archery deer and the first day for archery bear? They overlap? I could go out on the 12th with my doe and shoot a doe, a buck, a bear or a coyote?

That would be a good day to hunt.

You're reading it right. I already scheduled the day off myself.

Oh and don't forget to add turkey to the list

Saw that was going to be a good day as soon as it came out. Have to spend all day on stand, pack a lunch! Lets hope for nice weather.

Re: Archery Bear Season?

I wonder if that will be a good day for buck hunting. It seems like, this year, it may be a little late. Bucks will be with does already. Past the prime chase phase.

Re: Archery Bear Season?

The last day of archery always seems to be the best day of the whole season for seeing bucks no matter what day it falls on.

Re: Archery Bear Season?

Just read it in my July PGN edition last night. They extended Archery Deer into that Monday because they stated it is a holiday, and are thinking many archers will take advantage of being off that day.

Re: Archery Bear Season?

It's Veterans' Day. Hmmm, that's a conflict. My kids' school is having a big Veterans' Day assembly. They honor all the vets in the community. My dad will be there. He is almost 82 and served during the Korean War. My 10 year old son will be presenting the flag. I really should be there. Man, I really wanted to hunt that day
