Seems there's a resident now.

Apparently there is a "resident" blackie making it's home in Eastern Washington County. He (I believe it's a he) is living in a fairly populated area, as most of Eastern Washington Co. is. He is a regular eating over a baited trailcam. Up until now, just about all Bear were pass throughs, and I knew it would be a matter of time before some decided to hang around. If I were a guessing guy, I'd say within 10 years or so, there will be a very small huntable population in extreme SW PA.

Hope you guys do get a huntable population. In this end of 2C we have quite a few.

Don't know bout the Bear Regs. I've never had the urge to hunt them, but there really isn't a "huntable" population in Washinton County. That may change in a few years.

I would think that any Bear taken with a Bow in Washington County, would have been coming to a bait source by habit. My thoughts only.
