The bull was found, supposedly in the 380s. I saw the pic!

Re: governers tag

This is what, the third year for the Gov's tag? And every single year, the winner of the tag has been bashed by some user on this board.

Congrats to the lucky hunter. He donated nearly 30G to wildlife management in PA. Kudos to you, sir or mam!

So we are not a good sportsman if we detest the idea of the rich being able to buy a tag? His 30k didn't pay for those elk, all of US paying our fees and ammo taxes every year paid for them. If he is such a conservationist he can make a donation any time he wishes, like many of us do to the charities of our choice. But I will never be in favor of game that supposedly is owned and shared by all of us going to the highest bider, its wrong!

Re: governers tag

Not flip flopn
1st post was too see what actually happened with the elk, wasnt bashn.
And no ,I dont like the principal of somebody with money just throwing it down to get what they want, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT'S HUNTING, they got "hunting shows " on tv for that.
As far as the 29g for "conservation " , why our numnutted governor doesn't tax these gas drillers is beyond me, could be making alot more than that EVERYDAY, but that's for another topic.

Re: governers tag

This is great. First we call out the in-line hunters as not being sportsman compared to the flinters, next its the x-bow hunters that are not real sportsmen when compared to bow hunters. Now rich hunters are evil. Did you ever think that once we have identified all these various groups that we can not get along with we will all be alone? It is evident that this mass media idea of "Class warfare" is even present on HPA.
