I’am going with my standard loads 85 go by weight of bh 209 with harvester black crushed rib sabot sitting on top of a wool wad with a 302 bomb. In my omega. In my savage it’s 42 grains by weight of cvs 110 with a wool wad with harvester black sabot and 300 asg performance bullet.
What is safe in my rifles may not be safe in yours

Hawken will have the usual PRB over 83gr FFFg....

Mine is a T/C Encore and I'll be shooting a 348 aerotip powerbelt over 100 grains of 777. Opening morning will find me with boots on the ground in Clinton County.

Same load and bullet out of my T/C Omega X7 stainless laminate inline! Except I'll be bumbling around Monroe and Lackawanna Counties.

Bigfoot saw me but nobody believes him!

Same load I use for Colorado elk- 110 gr. BH 209 with 270 gr. Platinum power belt. TC stainless omega, black thumbhole stock. Just got back from Colorado and put a scope on it and shot it in yesterday. I'm ready. All I need now is a bear.
