Exclamation NJ Bear Season Season Extension Wednesday - Saturday

Season Extension Wednesday - Saturday
The December segment of the bear season will be extended by four days. Segment B will reopen a half-hour before sunrise on Wednesday, December 12 and will continue until a half-hour after sunset on Saturday, December 15. Bears can be checked at the Whittingham, Green Pond, and Pequest WMAs between noon and 7:00 p.m. The Flatbrook and Black River stations are closed.

I thought new jersey banned bear hunting last year???

I meant to say state land but I'm so used to saying sgl's.

I've been to many meetings in NJ on this issue testifying on behalf of the pike county federation of sportsmen's clubs supporting the bear hunt.

Been to these meetings since the early 2000s.
