Not heading out west but to South Africa on Monday. Stratching one off my bucket list. Hunted both Montana and Wyoming before, beautiful states with alot of game. Wish you guys the best. Have a safe and successful trip and post some pics when you get back! Semper Fi ToothHunter

Good luck guys, just received a report from Idaho. Bulls are very quiet. Give it 2 more weeks and it should be on....

Re: Montana bound in 7 days

I leave this Friday for New Mexico - DIY but on private ranch - different terrain than I am used to out there so not sure what to expect. Rancher claims to be getting allot of trail cam pics of good bulls so I guess we will soon see. Nothing like elk in September.

Re: Montana bound in 7 days

You guys go on group trips or solo, find deals, is it expensive? Times are a little tight till my kids are 18 for now. Like to get away. Can you lend some advice on what you look for when heading out. Is price the big factor or where you go for your hunt? Need a break from the mondaine humdrum life I work extremely hard. Thanks in advance. Jay
