Anyone harvest 2C bears?

Anyone on here harvest any bears from the WMU 2C? I got snuffed yet again and will try to pound it out during the extended season.

I saw there were quite a few bears killed in WMU 2A this year which is rather exciting. I'm glad to see our states hold such a healthy population of bears and that they can all live in diversified areas.

Ohiopyle DCNR kept the gate closed on Gas Well Road, which eliminated a pretty big chuck of good bear hunting territory up on Sugarloaf. I'm thinking that with all the rain this past summer, the road might have been washed out. That road is always open in bear and deer season. This is the first time in my lifetime that it stayed closed. A lot of hunters were upset about it because it is their go to bear spot, but hey, what are you gonna do. It might of added 4 or 5 more bears to the 2c count..

I have never hunted off of Sugarloaf aside from snakes...

Parking and hiking back in was always an option LOL

I have some spots pinned to check out up around there

Was looking for personal accounts of bear harvests. I don’t believe half of those pins on that map LOL

I know what you mean . I questioned some of the pins. I know in the past the hunter placed the pin. Is it still like that?

I saw 3 bears on opening saturday of rifle, and missed one in archery all in 2C. A buddy of mine of mine killed one on his farm near Republic, in 2A.
